While I'm Waiting

While I’m Waiting

13 Oct
Waiting is not particularly something I enjoy.  Like
most people I want things now!  But, things don’t
always happen the way that I want them to or when
I want them to, so what do you do?  I wait, and wait,
and sometimes I have to wait some  more!  I think
Patiece is something that you learn to practice.  No it’s not
fun, and most times it is not exciting, but it is always
necessary.
The bible says to let patience have her perfect work!
I always get a kick out of patience being referred to
as a woman.  I really believe this is because women
are born to wait.  We are receivers.  When you are
a receiver, you have to wait on someone to give you
something.
I like to think of patience as being a pregnant woman.
When I first became pregnant, I was so excited as my
husband and I had to wait a long long time to be
come pregnant, twenty years to be exact!  Once
pregnant though, I had no idea as to what to really
expect.  I knew a baby was coming in nine months,
but could not believe how long a time or how short a
time nine months could have been.  At first it seemed  as
though  time just stood still.  I was so sick and thought
that that time was never going to end.  Then all of a sudden it
flew and our baby boy was about to be born.  I thought
of all the emotions, it was as though I was on a rollercoaster
ride, up and down, up and down.
I have found that everything in life worth having
takes patience to recieve it.   So I encourage you that
if you are waiting on something that you desire that
you picture yourself to be a pregnant woman.  How
far along are you?  Be assured that when you are pregnant
that you will have that baby, you do not carry it forever!
You will not have to wait forever, your promise is
on its way, keep expecting until Viola!  Your baby is
here!

Apr Mama’s DIY Concoctions! Don’t you just love it when you can be creative and it blesses your family or others?  I hope so,  as today’s blog is about giving!  I am a giver!  By stating that I am a giver people may automatically say “well give me this much money or give me this or that!”  The fact of the matter is I’ve not always had money to give, but I’ve had my time and thank God he has given me a few talents that I can use to give to others!  I am an Author and an Artist , so it gives me great pleasure to bless my friends and family with a painting or a book that I’ve written, but I also love to cook! When a friend is sick I can do homemade chicken soup for them and a big ol’ pone of cornbread from my Grandma’s iron skillet!  When I do something like cook soup and cornbread for a friend, It gives me great pleasure to do it!  I am probably blessed as much as they are!  I thank God that he’s given me my Southern Mama who was a wond...
